Justin Bieber Stars in a New petaDishoom Ad

Justin Bieber had an amazing year filled with chart-topping singles, major television appearances, and numerous awards, including an American Music Award for Artist of the Year. He also appeared on a Vanity Fair cover and began preparing for a documentary about his life called Never Say Never. Now, this Grammy-nominated breakthrough artist is taking time out of his busy schedule to star in a heartwarming ad for animals. In the new ad, he encourages people to adopt cats and dogs from animal shelters instead of buying them from breeders or pet stores.

Bieber sings the praises of our furry friends in his ad that reads, "Animals Can Make U Smile. Adopt From Your Local Shelter". Homeless dogs all across India are fighting for their lives. With only scraps to eat, many starve to death. Others suffer broken bones or infected wounds, are killed by vehicles or are abused by cruel people. Bieber wants his fans to know that buying a dog or a cat from a pet store or a breeder takes a home away from a deserving animal waiting in a shelter for a loving family.

The only solution to the dog and cat overpopulation crisis is spaying and neutering (sterilising) animals to prevent pregnancies and adopting animals from shelters or rescuing them from the streets.

So if you're thinking about bringing an animal into your home, take a cue from Justin Bieber and give animals in shelters and on the streets a new leash on life!
