Get Animals Out of Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao

SONY TV channel's Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, a reality show in which celebrities are made to live in the jungle for two months, is mistreating and torturing animals for the sake of entertainment. Celebrities are made to perform various tasks, including eating animals alive and putting scorpions, cockroaches, snakes, chameleons, ants and other animals in boxes and glass bowls.

Since it is against the law to capture and exhibit wild animals for television in India, the show is filmed in Malaysia. Shot in the Taman Negara rainforest, the programme is cruel to the animals who are captured, used and often killed on the show, and it is disruptive to the thousands of species of wildlife who make the surrounding jungle their home.

It is vital that authorities hear from motivated individual viewers like you, since it sends a clear message that the public does not support the unkind treatment of animals on television.

You Can Help
Please let the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting know how offensive you find this programme and ask them to stop broadcasts of future episodes of Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao as well as any reality show that uses animals.
