Speak Out Against Animal Suffering at AIIMS
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has been confining 68 monkeys, 90 rabbits, several sheep and ever-multiplying guinea pigs and rats – most believed to be sick and dying – in small cages at its central animal facility.
According to news reports, rats and monkeys are driven insane by laboratory conditions. They are confined to small cages and live in constant fear of employees' rough handling. One monkey has lived like this for nearly 20 years, and others have endured these conditions for as long as a decade. Fifty of the 90 rabbits were suffering from an infectious skin disease, and several, including a guinea pig and rats, had untreated wounds.

We Need Your Help
Help stand up for animal rights and take action against AIIMS. Please write to the officials at AIIMS and urge them to rehabilitate the monkeys and other animals who are incarcerated at its central animal facility.
